Students evaluate a budget and identify important budget items that public managers must consider in preparation and presentation of a budget. Đăng ký môn học
Trường Đại học Nam Columbia – phân hiệu Việt Nam đưa ra 3 phương thức học tập để sinh viên lựa chọn nhằm hỗ trợ tốt nhất cho việc bố trí thời gian học.
Sinh viên có thể đăng ký cùng lúc tối đa là 3 môn học nếu thỏa mãn các điều kiện học tập sau:
1. Phương thức học tập theo lớp
Sinh viên học theo module cùng với nhiều bạn học khác. Thông thường các sinh viên đăng ký cùng lúc 2 môn học / module.
Có 4 module trong một năm học, bắt đầu từ tháng 1 và kết thúc vào tháng 12 hàng năm.
Sau khi kết thúc môn học đã đăng ký, nếu đạt yêu cầu, sinh viên sẽ tiếp tục đăng ký môn học tiếp theo. Quá trình này được tiếp tục cho đến hết chương trình.
Việc đăng ký môn học phải được tiến hành 10 ngày trước ngày bắt đầu môn học. Mỗi môn học đều quy định rõ:
Thời hạn hiệu lực của môn học sẽ là 10 tuần liên tục. Trong thời gian này, sinh viên sẽ tương tác trên hệ thống Blackboard với giáo sư hướng dẫn, tiếp thu bài giảng qua các băng hình do giảng sư thực hiện và, quan trọng nhất, là tham gia các buổi học trên lớp được hướng dẫn bởi các trợ giảng Việt Nam. Cuối mỗi môn học, sinh viên Việt Nam có thêm 2 tuần để học tại chỗ với các giáo sư đến từ Trường Đại học Nam Columbia.
Nếu sinh viên đăng ký nhiều hơn 1 môn học cùng một lúc, thời lượng các môn học cũng sẽ không thay đổi. Có nghĩa là sinh viên vẫn phải học tập, nộp bài, làm bài kiểm tra trong 10 tuần cho tất cả các môn học đã đăng ký. Chính vì vậy, sinh viên cần cân nhắc số lượng môn học khi đăng ký.
Sinh viên có thể yêu cầu gia hạn thêm thời gian và đóng lệ phí thích hợp để hoàn thành môn học ngoài thời gian cho phép.
2. Phương thức học trực tuyến toàn phần
Sự linh hoạt là điểm nổi bật trong chương trình đào tạo của Trường Đại học Nam Columbia. Nếu không có điều kiện học tập cùng với lớp, sinh viên có thể đăng ký học trực tuyến toàn phần bất kỳ lúc nào với sự trợ giúp của giáo sư phụ trách môn học và từ đội ngũ tư vấn đào tạo của Trường.
Mỗi môn học được quy định diễn ra trong 10 tuần. Tuy nhiên, sinh viên có thể đẩy nhanh tiến độ học tập và kết thúc sớm môn học sau 4 tuần hoặc kéo dài môn học tối đa 18 tuần bằng cách xin gia hạn môn học có đóng phí. Xin xem thêm phần Học phí và Phí để biết thêm thông tin.
3. Phương thức học theo kỳ
Các kỳ học được bắt đầu hàng tháng và được công bố công khai trên trang web chính của Trường. Sinh viên có thể linh hoạt lựa chọn thời gian hoặc môn học mà mình thấy hợp lý để nhập học.
Việc học theo kỳ có lợi thế là giúp sinh viên có thể dễ dàng kết nối với giáo sư và nhiều bạn học cùng môn tại khắp nơi trên thế giới thông qua diễn đàn thảo luận môn học. Đồng thời sinh viên có thể chủ động hơn trong việc bố trí lịch học và lịch nộp bài tập.
Hiện tại, phương thức học theo kỳ chỉ được áp dụng cho chương trình Tiến sĩ Quản trị Kinh doanh.
